Cookie and browser-storage notice
What Nimtask stores in your browser and how to choose whether to allow optional measurement.
This notice explains how NIMTASK LTD (company no. 17452539) uses cookies and similar browser storage on this website.
What is used now
Nimtask uses necessary storage to operate and secure the service. This includes Supabase authentication/session storage so signed-in users stay signed in and Vercel or security-provider storage that may be used for request integrity, abuse prevention, load balancing or protected access. The precise cookie or local-storage key can change when those providers update their security systems.
The job-posting form temporarily saves unfinished job details and choices, including your postcode, description and broad price estimate. Before signing in, the draft stays in session storage for the current browser tab, so it can survive reloads and a same-tab sign-in flow. Closing that tab removes its session copy.
After account setup or sign-in, Nimtask can also keep an account-bound recovery copy in local storage in the same browser. It is restored only after Nimtask checks that you are signed in to the matching customer account. This lets you recover the draft if email confirmation opens another tab in that browser. Recovery is available for up to 24 hours after the last save; expired copies are removed when next checked. Closing one tab does not remove an account-bound recovery copy. Posting successfully or choosing “Discard draft” removes the current draft and its known account recovery copy.
Job drafts are necessary storage for this form, not advertising tracking. Photos, videos, passwords, payment details and exact private budget amounts from the earlier form are not stored or restored in job drafts.
If you start a quote from the public job browser, this tab also remembers the public job reference for up to two hours so you can return after sign-in or worker setup. It does not store customer details or a quote. Closing the tab removes that reference.
When enabled on account forms, Cloudflare Turnstile performs browser security checks and generates a short-lived, single-use token to help prevent automated abuse. Nimtask does not enable Turnstile pre-clearance, which would issue an additional clearance cookie. Advertising and tracking
Nimtask does not currently set optional advertising, cross-site tracking, personalisation or audience-analytics cookies. Cookie Settings offers a choice for the optional cookieless website and registration measurement described below. Necessary storage remains enabled.
Website visit analytics
When you allow optional measurement, we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits, page views and referral sources. This analytics service does not use cookies or browser storage to track visits across websites. Before sending page-view URLs, we remove query strings and fragments, replace individual job references with a general page route, and exclude administrator pages. See our Privacy Notice for more information.
When optional measurement is allowed, we also keep first-party daily aggregate counts of Find work visits and registration steps. This measurement uses no analytics cookies, browser storage, fingerprint or visitor identifier. Predefined source, campaign and advert or page variant labels are carried through signup and saved with a registered account. Our separate request limiter uses short-lived salted, hashed request buckets for abuse prevention. See the registration measurement section of our Privacy Notice for details.
Optional measurement stays off until you allow it. Turning it off stops future optional website and registration measurement in this browser. We also respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Your choice does not remove previously collected records or stop necessary account, job, payment and administrator records.
Necessary storage
Necessary storage supports sign-in, account security, fraud prevention, payment-flow integrity, administrator protection, saved user choices and basic service delivery. Blocking it in your browser may prevent sign-in, job posting, payment or other core features from working.

These choices are saved to honour your preferences. They do not enable advertising or identify you across websites.
If this changes
Before introducing non-essential cookies or similar technologies, Nimtask will update this notice and provide an appropriate consent choice. Optional storage will not be activated before the required consent.
Your controls
Use Cookie Settings below or in the footer to change your optional measurement choice. Necessary storage remains available whichever choice you make.
You can remove cookies and site storage through your browser settings. This may sign you out, delete unfinished job drafts and reset your saved choices. Closing the posting tab removes its session draft; an account-bound recovery copy may remain until discarded, expired and next checked, or removed through browser settings.
